My Wonderful, yet Weirder Than Hell, Friends
mouse.gif (10566 bytes)

MarkMark: Mark is my bestest friend and was my last roommate. Since then, I've moved to San Diego and he's now in Seattle.

He's the sweetest guy in the entire world. He's been there for me through really tough periods of my life. He puts up with all of my quirky behavior, and even lets me listen to musicals!

I am currently helping him build his own website, which will soon contain lots of info on bicycles, inline and ice skates, anime, music, and other cool stuph.

In case you might be wondering, the legs on the wall behind him are from The Cure's Boys Don't Cry poster.

Dennis and me at DisneyDennis:  Dennis is my Jacksonville friend. The picture is from his birthday last year (2000), when Mark and I took him to Disney World. We're inside Tom Sawyer's Island. Dennis is my friend who I can talk about anything to. We have great philosophical discussion. He really thinks about things, which makes him so interesting.

BTW, I must admit that the idea for this picture is from a picture of my friends, Katie and Trina, taken a couple of years earlier when a group of high school friends went to Disney.

Katie, the birthday girlKatie: Katie has the special title of my first girl crush. I have had a mad crush on this girl for years now. We went to junior high and high school together, and I always thought she was the coolest girl ever. Yeah, I tried to put the moves on her, but much to my disappointment, she's straight. She was super cool about it though, and even gave me a kiss for my birthday last year.

Almost all of my friends have had crushes on her, especially someone whose picture is on this page . . . Hmm, who could it be? *coughdenniscough*

Brian, looking spiffyBrian:  Brian's a good friend from high school.  Right now, he's going to school at St. John's University in Minnesota, where he is a Liturgical Music and Theology major. Brian is also cool because he listens to lots of musicals, and would always sing and dance with me.

Erik: Erik is cool because he spells his name like Erik, the Phantom of the Opera. I profusely apologize for showing a picture of him in his AMC uniform, but I wanted to include him on this page, and that was the only picture I had. Erik is one of the funniest guys alive, and could make working at the crappiest places (like Little Caesar's) fun. He's also a big sweetie, and always lends an ear to anyone who is having problems. GibbyGibby:  Gibby is currently in the Army, at Ft. Lee, Virginia. I am very excited that he will be back home in California at the beginning of December.

Once he's out here, we will no doubt collaborate on many artsy projects, such as websites and 'zines.

Ben at the beachBen: First of all, please excuse the picture. It is the most recent one I have of Ben and the one that is the closest to how he looks now. Please note that he is much cuter in person than he may look in the picture.

That said, Ben and I have known each other for a long time -- since 7th grade. He and I dated on and off for years. We have a weird love-hate relationship, but he is cool.

Ben's super smart on computers. Check out his webpage to see more about his programs!

Heather: Heather's my super cool new San Diego friend. I think she's the first friend I made in this spiffy new town.

Heather and her friends all work at Hot Topic here in San Diego.

Here's a cheesy haiku I wrote for Heather:

Heather is so rad.
She makes me laugh all the time.
She's my new best friend.

Chris & Steve: Chris & Steve are 2/3 of the Black Market Hearts. Their band is amazing, and I am quite a groupie. Check out their website for more info about the band.

Here the two lovebirds are, in all their homoerotic glory. I love these guys.

The Guys: I don't have individual pictures of these guys, so they'll have to be one entity on this page.

Seth's the one in the green hat on the left. The Chris' are in the middle -- Chris O. is standing up and Chris F. is the one sitting down. Over on the right is Ben, Chris F.'s good friend.

Seth, Chris O. and Chris F. all work at Hot Topic with Heather.

Stuffy: Stuffy is my super cool bear. He's actually living in Seattle, with Mark, but he visits me occassionally.

Here he is, being corrupted by Mark, who bought him a bike magazine during our layover in Denver, CO.

Pig: Pig, otherwise known as P-chan, is another one of my stuffed companions.

Recently, Pig has gotten into a big of a glam phase ... Pig loves to dress up all purty when we have company coming!

Pig now has a friend, Milkshake the cow ... I will try to get a picture of them up here soon!

Me: Here I am, trying to be artsy with my crappy digital camera.

Um ... don't really know what to tell you about me. After all, this whole website is about me ... how vain!

My back tattooMy tattoo: I got this tattoo about a week before Christmas 2000, at BodyTech in Gainesville. I got the idea for the butterfly from another tattoo, but then Mark and I worked on the drawing and made it all my own.

Also, just to note ... there is NO way I'm actually that tan. The camera just makes me look tanner than the pasty white I really am!
My wrist tattooMy wrist tattoo: Sorry the picture is so blurry! It's from my digital camera, which isn't that great. But at least you can see what my new tattoo looks like.

Like my other one, this was done at BodyTech in Gainesville. I got this on May 5, 2001 ... the day after I graduated! Mark has two tattoos just like this, one on each upper forearm ... just below his elbow.
