Sleater-Kinney
Many of you may not know who Sleater-Kinney is. If so, you are missing out on a great band. They are a very cool lesbian, indie/punk rock band. They just released a new album, All Hands On The Bad One. I got it about two months ago, and I love it.
Suprisingly, it was my MALE roommate who got me listening to this grrl band. Mark has listened to them for years, and has Hot Rock, Call The Doctor and Dig Me Out. I've listened to them all, and this band can rock.
I don't know much about the band themselves, but you can check them out on the web. They are on Kill Rock Stars records, along with such other indie/punk bands as Bikini Kill and Excuse 17. You can check out the KRS website on Sleater-Kinney here.
